Der Flug von einer Seite zur anderen beträgt 2.000 Meilen und dauert über dreieinhalb Stunden; ein Flug von Melbourne im äußersten Süden nach Darwin im tropischen Norden dauert ebenfalls etwa dreieinhalb Stunden.
